THE GOAL
Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) foster belonging and help employees build meaningful networks through career development, community engagement, volunteer opportunities, and employee-led initiatives. They also provide a forum for sharing ideas that enhance NASCAR’s workplace culture. We currently have six active ERGs open to all employees including APEX, The Belnavis Collective, NASCAR Unidos, OATH, Pride+ and Women in NASCAR.
APEX
APEX’s mission is to engage, educate, and elevate members and allies of the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities across NASCAR. Through purposeful programming and community-building events, we aim to create a welcoming space where employees can connect. By highlighting AANHPI heritage, identities, and contributions, and by amplifying underrepresented voices, APEX provides a meaningful resource for employees.
The Belnavis Collective
The Belnavis Collective’s primary mission is to address cultural issues impacting the Black community within the motorsports industry. We achieve this by providing professional development programming and mentorship opportunities, encouraging the advancement and retention of Black employees, facilitating conversations about race within the workplace, and engaging in community outreach opportunities.
NASCAR UNIDOS
NASCAR Unidos celebrates the Hispanic/Latin cultures and connects employees who share similar experiences by creating a network through community engagement and career development. NASCAR Unidos is committed to providing a forum that promotes and increases the representation of Hispanic/Latin employees within the company through education.
OATH
OATH (One Alliance to Honor) is committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive community for veterans, military family members, and allies within NASCAR. Our mission is to educate around issues affecting veterans and allies, build and promote effective allyship, and meaningfully engage the veteran community through service and volunteerism. Through shared accountability and active participation, we strive to strengthen our culture, enhance engagement, and contribute to the overall success of NASCAR.
PRIDE+
PRIDE+ unites LGBTQ+ employees and allies to build an inclusive and equitable workplace where individuals can share their full identities without fear of discrimination or reprisal. By offering networking opportunities, educational programs, and meaningful conversations, PRIDE+ encourages employees, new and established, to connect, learn, and contribute to a culture of respect and belonging.
WOMEN IN NASCAR
Women in NASCAR (WIN) aims to create a community for women and allies in our offices to foster dialogue and promote professional growth. The organization hosts multiple events each year, which allows opportunities for networking among all levels within the organization and giving back through charity events focused on empowering or assisting women and youth in the local community.
