ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The NASCAR Diversity Internship Program is a paid internship that seeks diverse undergraduate and graduate college students to contribute to the fast-paced NASCAR industry. NDIP provides practical, unique, hands-on experience in a variety of fields vital to the sport & business operations.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

Be a member of one or more of the following races/ethnic minority classifications: Black or African American, American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, Latino or Hispanic, Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander

Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program, or be considered a recent graduate who has not completed their degree before the fall of the application year

Be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.*

Be at least in their sophomore year of college

Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

Be willing to relocate to Florida, North Carolina, or various locations across the United States

Thank you for your interest in the NASCAR Diversity Internship Program. The application period for the 2023 summer is now closed. The summer program is 10 weeks from mid-May into early August. No, we currently only offer program during the summer. Interns begin their experience with orientation in Charlotte, North Carolina. This multi-day immersion introduces the incoming class to the business of NASCAR. Interns will experience a NASCAR race, visit the NASCAR Hall of Fame, tour race teams and meet with industry executives. Upon completion of orientation interns will begin their internship at their respective locations. Throughout the program each intern is matched with a mentor and participates in weekly lunch and learns with NASCAR executives and program alumni. Yes, interns are paid an hourly wage. We offer internships based out of Florida, North Carolina, and numerous race tracks across the country. We offer a housing stipend for interns who must relocate more than 50 miles. No, not currently. Employment at NASCAR after program completion is a primary goal but not guaranteed. Student must apply directly to the internship positions at NASCAR Careers.
